ELECTRONIC TRANSLATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To maintain the correspondence between an original sentence and a translated sentence at all times by automatically obtain a correct translated sentence corresponding to a corrected original sentence once the original sentence is corrected. CONSTITUTION:When the original sentence and translated sentence to be edited are specified from an editing input device 8 at the time of document editing, an editing controller 9 reads corresponding documents out of an original sentence file 3 and a translated sentence file 5. When insertion is performed, an insert sentence is translated by a translation controller 4 and the editing controller 9 inserts the sentence into the translated sentence file 5 at a corresponding place. When the translated sentence is corrected, only the translated sentence file 5 is corrected and the original sentence is not altered.
