Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To turn a ductor roller continually stepwise and to connect/disconnect it automatically during press stoppage by interrupting conversion of the stroke motion of an eccentric body into the stepwise angular motion of the ductor roller through an adjusting member acting only during press operation. CONSTITUTION: A damper/drive 5 turning continually only during press stoppage drives a ductor roller 1 stepwise through an eccentric body 15, an oscillator 12, a drive rod 11, a lever 10 and a flywheel 9 provided on the drive pin 13 of the ductor roller 1. At the time of press operation, the oscillator 12 is pivoted away from the stroke range of the eccentric body 15 through a piston 18 by the hydraulic pressure of an oil supply mechanism using an adjusting member acting with a negative pressure or a pressure air load related to the press operation.
