SPECTRUM RESOLVING AND DETECTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized device having a function completing in itself, capable of analyzing light into its constituent color components and detecting an arbitrary group of colors and used for a scanner, a camera, a detector or the like. CONSTITUTION: A detector array 18 composed of individual detectors 30 is formed on the surface 40 of base material 12. At least a part, of the detector array 18 is composed of a semiconductor such as silicon, germanium, their alloy and other substance. A logical and selective circuit 20 is formed on the surface of the base material 12. Furthermore, an electrical connection part 22 is formed on the surface 14 together with formation of the detector array in a similar method, and the detector array 18 is connected to the logical and selective circuit 20. Thereby, since all electronic members necessary for scanning can be formed by a similar processing step on the base material 12 capable of functioning as the resolution means of a multi-color image, a small-sized scanning head used for a document scanner or the like and having a function completing with itself can be simply and easily manufactured.
