Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a UCF1 derivative useful as an antimicrobial agent and an antitumor agent, having antimicrobial action and antitumor action. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I (R is group shown by formula II or formula III). The compound shown by formula I wherein R is group shown by formula II is referred to as UCF1-AX and the compound shown by formula II wherein R is group shown by formula III as UCF1-BX. For example, UCF1- AX is obtained by reacting UCF1-A with chromium oxide as an oxidizing agent (1-10 equivalents based on UCF1-A) in a mixed solvent of acetic acid and dimethyl sulfoxide at 0-50 deg.C for 1-24 hours, isolating and purifying by column chromatography, etc.
