HEATER

PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of a heater due to infrared rays and miniaturize the heater by providing an infrared rays reflecting layer, composed of material reflectible infrared rays radiated to a heating element housing space from a heating element, on the heating element surface on a plate body side. CONSTITUTION:Emitted light, composed of infrared rays and visible region light, etc., radiated from the envelope 2 of a heating element 1, has a first emitted light, directly radiated to the outward of an electric stove 8, and a second emitted light radiated to a first infrared rays reflecting layer 7. The infrared rays of the second emitted light is reflected to the outward of the electric stove 8 with a first infrared rays reflecting layer 7, and the visible region light of the second emitted light transmits the first infrared rays reflecting layer 7 to be radiated to a plate body 6 doubling as a reflecting plate. Moreover the visible region light is reflected outward of the electric stove 8 by the plate body 6. This causes the nonradiation of the infrared rays to the plate body 6 and the radiation of only the visible region light, consequently corroding, inducing reflectance lowering, etc., can be reduced, and a distance between the heating element 1 and the plate body 6 can be shortened to permit the miniaturization of the electric stove 8.
