Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To display information on a display device in a superimposed mode by reading information from an inscribed recording medium as well as a circumscribed medium that are recorded different coordinate systems. CONSTITUTION:Added information recorded in a circumscribed recording medium 9 is turned from latitudinal/longitudinal coordinates into secondary mesh normalized coordinates. The road map information of an inscribed recording medium 1 is extracted from an application program of the circumscribed recording medium 9, and a traffic related facility that indicates private added information can be displayed in a superimposed manner thereon. Namely, the road map information is read from the inscribed recording medium 1 and is displayed on a display device 8 by converting the added information stored in the circumscribed recording medium 9 from latitudinal/longitudinal coordinates into secondary mesh normalized coordinates, and the coordinates-converted added information is displayed in a superimposed manner.
