ELECTRONIC CONTROL TYPE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To provide an electronic control system automatic transmission causing no seizure, slip, etc., of frictional material even in engine brake during warming-up running. CONSTITUTION:A warming-up running mode detecting means 104, line pressure regulating means 110 to control line pressure according to an electric command signal, engine output detecting means 101 to detect the engine output, first memory means 100 to store line pressure data in normal traveling, comparing means 100 to calculate the reduction rate of the engine output detected by the engine output detecting means for judging whether or not the reduction rate exceeds a predetermined value and control means 100 to increase the line pressure higher than that stored in the first memory means in the normal traveling when the reduction rate of the engine output exceeds a predetermined value in the warming-up running mode, are provided when the engine is braked in the warming-up running mode by the control means 100 and the reduction rate of throttle opening exceeds a predetermined value, the line pressure is set higher than that stored in the first memory means in the normal traveling, so that frictional materials of an automatic transmission are prevented from slip, seizure, etc.
