CONSTITUTION:The subject SiC/C composite material is produced by a method for bonding plural graphite parts such as pins 1 and a base 2 of different shapes with an adhesive, as necessary, carbonizing, then heat-treating the bonded graphite parts in an Si-containing gas and converting part or all of the graphite material into SiC.
