Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make the initial installation of a program executable even when a console is not operated by selecting system program loading or ordinary starting by only operating a switch which hardly requires exchange. CONSTITUTION:When a system program is loaded on an auxiliary storage device 307 at the starting time of a computer, the power supply switch 101 of the computer is turned on after turning on a system program loading switch 301 which instructs the loading of the system program and loading a loading medium 302 storing loading procedures and the system program on an external input and output device 102. Then the computer detects the turning-on of the switch 301, reads out the system program from the medium 302, and loads the system program on the auxiliary storage device.
