METHOD OF MOUNTING RADIATION DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To offer a mounting method by which a maintenance and inspection operation becomes easy without deteriorating the characteristic of a radiation detector by a heating operation, a pressurization operation and the like when the detector using a semiconductor array element responding to a radiation is mounted on a substrate for a detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:Base stands 3, 4 whose surfaces are formed as slopes are formed on both sides of a radiation detector 1; pattern electrodes 7 on which metal bumps 8 have been installed in their tip parts are arranged on the slopes of the base stands; and connecting electrodes for the radiation detector are pressed by the bumps and connected. Pins 10 which are passes through the base stands are installed; their upper ends are soldered to the pattern electrodes 7; and their lower ends are connected to sockets 12, 13 on an apparatus board so as to be freely attachable and detachable.
