Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable it for a customer to confirm merchandise, which bar code is read, merchandise name and price. CONSTITUTION:When the bar code attached to merchandise read by a scanner part 11 is correctly recognized, the image of merchandise photographed by a video camera 12 is stored in an image memory 16. The stored merchandise image is synthesized with the display information of the merchandise name and the price transmitted from a main body 20 of a POS by a display control circuit 17, and this synthesized image is displayed on a customer display 14.
