Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To relieve the load of a microprocessor (MPU) and to input a serial data at an optional baud rate to the MPU inexpensively by combining the MPU and a shift register. CONSTITUTION:A serial data 101 is inputted to an FF1 and an input port of an MPU 9. Then the length of a start bit 11 of a data 101 is measured to grasp a baud rate. Eight sampling clocks synchronously with the baud rate are generated from an output port 102 and 8 data bits are outputted respectively from FFs 1-8. The data bits are inputted to the MPU 9 from a data bus 103 via a tri-state buffer 10.
