PROCESSING OF SPUN BOND NONWOVEN FABRIC

PURPOSE:To improve balance of longitudinal and lateral strengths of nonwoven fabric by piling a spun filament group, while being vibrated on the horizontal direction, on a collecting face moving in a direction perpendicular to the direction of vibration of the spun filament group, spot bonding and drawing the bonded material in the amplitude direction in a specific temperature range at a specific draw ratio. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic fiber filament group spun from a spinning nozzle is piled, while being vibrated in the horizontal direction, on a collecting face moving in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction to form web, which is subjected to heat embossing or needle punching treatment to interlace the filaments each other. Then the resulting material is introduced to a heating and drawing tank, drawn at 80-160 deg.C at 1.2-18 times draw ratio in the amplitude direction of the filament group by the horizontal vibration and then cooled.
