DISPLAY METHOD OF INCLINATION ANGLE OF SAMPLE INCLINING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain a displayed inclination angle by expressing the displayed inclination angle as a linear function of a shift quantity of a drive axis and correcting an error between the linear function and the real inclination angle through a trigonometric function. CONSTITUTION:If a displayed inclination angle thetad is expressed as a linear function of a shift quantity deltax of a drive axis 2, thetad=k.deltax is satisfied. Now, thetac=thetad+ a.sin(b.thetad) is calculated by using a constant (a) determined by relative positional dimensions l1, l2, l3 and a constant (b) determined 180/thetaMAZ when the maximum inclination angle is thetaMAZ. At this time, an error between the displayed inclination angle thetac and the real inclination angle becomes approximately 0.2 deg. as shown in a curve E so that it can be made small enough for exerting no trouble in practical use.
