AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To sufficiently blow liquid refrigerant and to prevent adverse influence to the operation of other indoor unit by varying blowing time of the refrigerant in an indoor heat exchanger of a stop indoor unit in response to the temperature of the exchanger when the indoor unit is stopped in a room heating operation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of room heating operation, if an indoor unit B3 is stopped, an indoor fan 34 is stopped, a two-way valve 33 is closed after a predetermined time ts, and an electronic expansion valve 31 is fully closed. However, when the operation of an indoor unit B1 is stopped, the time ts is set in response to a difference T between the sensed temperature of a heat exchanger temperature sensor 15 at the time of stopping and the sensed temperature of a refrigerant temperature sensor 16. The T is supercooling degree of the refrigerant flowing to an indoor heat exchanger 12. The larger the degree is, the longer the time ts can be set, thereby sufficiently and effectively blowing the liquid refrigerant in an indoor heat exchanger.
