Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title inexpensive, readily available preservative excellent in life-prolongable effect by dissolving in water at least one compound selected from NaHCO3, KHCO3, RbHCO3, CsHCO3 and NH4HCO3. CONSTITUTION:The objective presevative can be obtained by dissolving in water 1-1000ppm of at least one salt of first class or special grade selected from NaHCO3, KHCO3, RbHCO3, CsHCO3 and NH4HCO3. The water is pref. of relatively high clearness (esp. pure water of distilled water). Its usage is as follows: the present preservative is put into a vase for flower arrangement or a flower-preserving vessel and the cut ends of a flower are inserted thereinto.
