SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a readjustment by a change in ambient temp. and to obtain always stable image pickup signals by detecting the shading of a black level by a dark current and occasionally correcting shading via a memory. CONSTITUTION:The memory 6 which detects the optical black level of a signal processing section 4 is referenced by a microcomputer 7 and the level difference in the perpendicular direction of a screen is decided. A shading correction quantity is determined according to the result of the decision and is stored into a memory 9 of a shading correcting section 8. This stored content is read out in the address control circuit 10 and is added to the output of a preamplifier section 3 via a shading correcting circuit 11, by which the occasional shading of the black level by the dark current is executed in addition to the ordinary shading correction. Consequently, the black level shading changed by a temp. change is not required to be readjusted according to the temp. change and always the stable video images are obtd.
