EL PANEL

PURPOSE:To form an organic dispersive EL panel having a long life by providing a moisture-proof film of Si compound and the like between a transparent electrode and a water trap layer, and by laminating it on the transparent electrode. CONSTITUTION:High frequency power is supplied from a high frequency generator 26 by an external induction method by using a glow discharge polymerization device, and glow discharge is generated in a tube type reaction container 22. A moisture-proof film of Si compound of predetermined thickness is formed on the outer surface of a transparent electrode 2 due to this discharge. An emission substrate 20 for which the moisture-proof film is laminated on an electrode 2, is cut into a desired size, while an electrode connection device suitable for the connection between an external electric field and the electrode 2 as well as a back electrode 4, is provided. A pair of water trap layers 10, 12 made of 6 nylon, and outer films 14, 16 are pressurized on the substrate 20 for which the moisture-proof film is deposited on the electrode 2, by heat press, or by heat roller, and an EL panel is thus formed.
