Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent a hard disk device from being damaged even when the hard disk device is attached/detached during electrification by executing a protection processing to the hard disk device when it is detected that a lid is detached. CONSTITUTION:A switch 11 is provided on a face where an ear part 6 of an HDD pack 2 is fixed. When a lid 8 is fixed to the ear part 6, the switch 11 is turned on by being pressed with a projecting part 13 and when detaching the HDD pack 2, however, the switch 11 is turned off since the projecting part 13 is separated from the switch 11 by first detaching the lid 8. When a wrap top computer 1 is under electrification at such a time, a CPU is interrupted by turning the switch 11 off, and execution is moved to the prescribed processing for protecting the HDD pack 2. Thus, even when the hard disk device is attached/detached during electrification, the hard disk device can be prevented from being damaged.
