CHLOROALLYLHYDROXYCYCLOPENTENONE DERIVATIVE AND ITS PRODUCTION

NEW MATERIAL:A chloroallylhydroxycyclopentenone derivative shown by formula I (R is H or methyl). EXAMPLE:1-Methyl-2-(2-chloro-2-propenyl)-cyclopent-4-en-3-on-1-ol. USE:An intermediate for chloroallyl-substituted cyclopentenone derivatives shown by formula III. PREPARATION:A chloroallylfurylcarbinol derivative shown by formula II is rearranged in a solvent consisting essentially of water at pH 3.5-6 to give a chloroallylhydroxycyclopentenone derivative shown by formula I. The compound shown by formula I is isomerized in a solvent consisting essentially of water at pH 8-12 to give a chloroallyl-substituted cyclopentenone derivative shown by formula III.
