Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To readily recover the title compound in a saponified solution with high- boiling substances of by addition of hot water in producing the title compound from cyclohexane by oxidation, esterification, saponification, removal of low-boiling substances and high-boiling substances and purifying distillation process. CONSTITUTION:In producing the objective compound by oxidizing cyclohexane into a carboxylic acid compound, the carboxylic acid compound is esterified with an alcohol and hydrogenated a mixed solution of the prepared esterified substance, low-boiling substances and high-boiling substances are removed from the hydrogenated reaction solution by distillation operations 1-2 (shown in Fig.), the solution is saponified (4), the saponified solution is fed to a stripping column 5, low-boiling substances are evaporated and removed, the still solution is fed to a distillation column 6, the objective compound is evaporated from the top of the column and high-boiling substances are taken out from the bottom at >=100 deg.C. Further, hot water at >=70 deg.C is added to the high-boiling substances, which are distilled in batch under =200 deg.C and the objective compound is readily recovered from the saponified high-boiling substances efficiently to improve yield of the objective compound.
