Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the estimating of a stress physiological reaction type of a person to be measured without fail by a method wherein a response to a query is obtained by a query-response obtaining means concerning a stress and a synthetic variable is determined using the response and a factor prepared to be compared with a stress physiological reaction type reference value prepared. CONSTITUTION:A query 83a concerning a stress fed from a query storage section 83e of a memory section 75 is presented with a display section 71 and a person to be measured judges what degree the query corresponds to the contents of the query to input the degree in numeral, in character or the like. An arithmetic section 73 multiplies each of numeral data by a specified coefficient fed from a coefficient storage section 84e to determine the sum of products and a constant is added to the results to calculate a synthetic variable S as estimated physiological reaction value with the end of the presentation 83a of the query at a display section 71. The synthetic variable S is collated with a reference value of individual stress physiological reaction types stored at a stress physiological reaction type reference value storage section of memory section 75 thereby retrieving a stress physiological reaction type having the most approximate value.
