Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To stop vertical movement of a seedling placing stand by driving and moving linking mechanism downward and installing inverting mechanism of converting downward movement of the linking mechanism to rising actuation of supporting tool. CONSTITUTION:When longitudinally sending mechanism 7 is operated, a hexagonal drive shaft 12 is rotated by a given angle, a connecting rod 11 is moved downward and a supporting tool 26 linking through a balance type rocking arm 10 changes a seedling pressing tool 8 to a raising waiting attitude. When the longitudinal sending is stopped, the seedling pressing tool 8 is returned to the original attitude.
