APPARATUS FOR CULTIVATING PLANT

PURPOSE:To adapt conditions of temperature, humidity and light to cultivating conditions by providing the interior of an outer chamber with an inner chamber in a nearly hermetically closed state, installing a cooler and temperature regulators for water storage tanks in the interior of the inner chamber, providing a light shielding enclosure of the outer chamber and irradiating plants in the inner chamber with artificial light. CONSTITUTION:An outer chamber 2 is formed from a light shielding enclosure 16 and lamps 10 are provided to irradiate plants in an inner chamber 3 with light at a required illuminance for a prescribed time. Water in water storage tanks 5 in the inner chamber 3 is regulated with temperature regulators 6 and cold water is passed through cooling pipes 7 in the inner chamber 3. The cold water is then sprinkled from water sprinkling holes 43 in a water sprinkling pipe 42 of a cooler 9 over the ceiling part 27.
