GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To efficiently improve the ground and shorten the construction period by arranging a heating means having a heating body in the recess formed on the ground with banking, further charging sand around the heating means, and supplying electric power to heat the heating body. CONSTITUTION:A recess 14 of prescribed depth penetrating banking 12 banked on the ground is formed. A heating means of long pillar-like lengthy body longer than the depth of the recess 14 and having a heating body extending in lengthwise direction is arranged so as to conform the lengthwise direction with the depth direction of the recess 14, and sand 18 is charged around it. Next, electric power is supplied from a power source 20 to heat the heating body, generated heat is conducted to the sand 18, and water content in the sand 18 is heated and evaporated, Accompanied with the evaporation, water content in the ground 10 around the recess 14 is let flow to the sand 18 in order to evaporate, and hence the ground 10 is dehydrated. Hereby, without generation of pollution-causing substance, ground improvement can be performed with simple construction and in a short period.
