EXTRACTING METHOD FOR SYMBOLIC CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To extract the circuit by extracting grid information for each contact while collating first and the second data, extracting grid information which belongs to the identical wiring path while collating the grid information and the third data, and obtaining terminal connection information on a basic transistor circuit based on these extraction data. CONSTITUTION:When wiring data is classified for each layer and one layer (current processing layer) for processing object is selected, contact position data (second data) D2C for current processing layer and line segment data (third data) D2L of wiring are obtained. Then, contact map data CM is made from map data D1 and the contact position data D2C. In short, the grid information (numbers 3,4,5...) corresponding to the contact position shown by a black point is extracted. Wiring map data LM and connection data LD are made from the map data CM and the line segment data D21 of wiring. Thus, the circuit is extracted from symbolic wiring pattern and contact pattern.
