DECORATIVE PANEL AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To accurately reproduce the vessel pattern of wood on a grain pattern by constituting a decorative panel of a plate material having a large number of micropores, the adhesive layer formed on the surface of the plate material, a transfer ink layer of a grain pattern and the transparent resin layer applied over the transfer ink layer and the micropores. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin film 8 having a printed ink layer 9 of a grain pattern is prepared and the ink layer 9 of the film 8 is placed on a laminate consisting of a plate material 1 and a base material 3 so as to be brought into close contact with the second adhesive layer 6 to be bonded thereto under pressure. When the vinyl chloride resin film 8 is peeled off, the ink layer 9 of the vinyl chloride resin film 8 is transferred to the plate material 1 by the adhesive force of the second adhesive layer 6 to obtain such a state that the printed ink layer 9 of the grain pattern is formed to the region excepting the parts of micropores 2, 2... Finally, for example, a transparent resin such as polyester is sprayed to the laminated material having the printed ink layer 9 formed thereto from above by a sprayer F3 and solidified. By this method, a natural grain pattern can be faithfully reproduced.
