CIRCUIT DIAGRAM INPUT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To eliminate a need to define signal names to simplify the operation by using the terminal name of a terminal indicated by a mouse as the signal name as it is. CONSTITUTION:An operator first indicates a terminal to be connected and next successively indicates terminals to be connected to. When the operator indicates which of terminals to be connected to should be selected as the signal name of a signal line to be connected after this indication, a terminal name corresponding to the indication is retrieved and is defined as the signal name of the connected signal line. By this constitution where terminal names in graphic symbols of the circuit diagram in the picture displayed on a display device 3 are converted to signal names at the time of connection, signal names are inputted and displayed only with signal line connection without defining the signal names, and the operation is simplified.
