Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To more effectively execute prescribed alarm processing in accordance with real dangerousness by arranging a measuring range setting circuit part for optionally setting up the size of a measuring range on occasion in a signal processing part having a dangerousness deciding function. CONSTITUTION:The measuring range setting circuit part 40 is constituted of the 1st range setting circuit 40A for setting up a near distance range r1 and the 2nd range setting circuit 40B for setting up a range r2 to be a prescribed area on the outside of the range r1. The circuit part 40 inputs the output signal of a reference pulse output circuit 12a and sets up a measuring range corresponding to the input signal in a signal deciding circuit 33. Consequently, it is completely unnecessary for an operator to abort the operation of the device in working and an objective range of alarm can be changed in accordance with a working field by changing the range setting of a dangerous area and a semi- dangerous area.
