CUTTING DEVICE FOR STRIP MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To jet a clean water at all times to the cutting part of a strip material, by communicating a pump which feeds a clean water to a water jet nozzle and water injection pipe with the final tank of an overflow water tank. CONSTITUTION:Water is injected by a water injection nozzle 16 to a cutting part simultaneously with a strip material 23 being cut in a regular size by the rotation of a rotating grinding wheel 12, and water is injected by a water jetting pipe 15 onto a strip material receiving plate 10. the strip material 23 is held by a clamping chuck 13 at the right and left both sides of the cutting part, so no cutting burr is caused, with its being cut in a regular size orthogonally by the rotating grinding wheel 12, that which is of good quality and high dimensional accuracy is obtainable. The water jetted to the cutting part washes off the cutting chip of the strip material 23 And one part of cutting oil, the water jetted onto the strip material receiving plate 10 washes off the cutting powder dropped on the strip material receiving plate 10, cutting oil and the grinding wheel powder into a lot of holes 11. Therefore an upper part the strip material receiving plate 10 become clean, and no scratch is caused on the strip material 23 fed after cutting.
