Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal driver that is capable of doing real-time heat history control without the need for storing data in advance by a method wherein a binary counter which counts printing pulses and an up-counter which takes in data outputted from the binary counter as preset data and counts a constant pulse train are operated in combination for generation of correction pulse data, and heat history control is made therewith for the thermal driver. CONSTITUTION:Correction pulse data are outputted in the form of pulse train, and duration of a driver pulse is corrected in accordance with the number of said pulse train, and heat history control is made therewith. The number of the pulse train is made to decrease gradually by combining a binary counter 1 and an up-counter 2 when printing in black continues. The binary counter 1 and the up-counter 2 correct the duration of the driver pulse in accordance with the number of pulse train originated from the correction pulse data, and the binary counter 1 counts the duration in which the printing in black continues, and operates to make the up-counter 2 select the number of correction pulses to be used for the correction pulse data out of original correction pulses. |
