CONTROL METHOD FOR NETWORK SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To easily and surely revise control information of a terminal equipment using a 2nd command means publicated from a network management equipment to fulfill definitely the revision of a terminal management table of each packet exchange via a relay line. CONSTITUTION:When a console 7 ancillary to a network management equipment 1 is used to enter a close command together with information representing an object terminal equipment, the network management equipment 1 sends an inoperating command to packet exchanges 2b, 2c having object terminal equipments 6b, 6c under their control respectively. Then the operator confirming the inoperative state of the object terminal equipments 6b, 6c publicates a parameter revision command through the console 7 to revise a packet size from 128 octet into 256 octet. Thus, the parameter revision processing for plural terminal equipments 6b, 6c or the like connecting respectively to plural packet exchanges 2a-2c is implemented definitely and simultaneously by remote control through a line 5 in this way.
