DOCUMENT PROCESSOR WITH HANGING SCREEN PRINTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of the vertically or horizontally long hanging screens with a simple operation by printing successively a read-out print pattern in a single row for each character per line in the form feeding direction and in a stored format. CONSTITUTION:At production of a hanging screen, a user selects a character string, the magnification of characters, a vertical or horizontal writing way, the type of a magnified decoration, a style of character types, etc., to be printed on the hanging screen in a format information storage means 104. Then the print pattern corresponding to the characters is read out of a print pattern storage means 101 by a reading means 105 and then printed successively for each character per line by a print means 106 in the form feeding direction and in a format stored in the means 104. Thus it is possible to easily produce a hanging screen without performing such complicated operations including the designation of magnification, the input procedure, etc., of characters.
