STRUCTURE OF BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE:To achive simplification of work, reduction in cost and construction period by demolishing the above ground part of an existing building, partially demolishing an underground part of said building, leaving as it is a part thereof which is needed for constructing a structure of a building to be newly constructed, and constructing said structure underground to provide an artificial ground thereon. CONSTITUTION:After demolishing an above ground part 2 of an existing building, an underground part 1 is partially demolished leaving as it is a part thereof which is needed for providing a structure 5 of a building 7 to be newly constructed to construct said structure 5 in the underground part 1, following which an artificial ground 9 is provided on the upper end of the structure 5 at the predetermined height from the ground G in parallel therewith so as to be integral with the structure 5 and the new building 7 is constructed on the ground 9, wherein the amount of the demolished underground part 1 of the existing building is minimized and construction work for the underground part of the new building 7 can be avoided.
