MEASURING DEVICE FOR STRESS OF VISCOELASTIC BODY

PURPOSE:To enable automatic and continuous measurement regardless of the state of viscoelasticity by leaving a specimen at the die side of an outer cylinder after test completion while automatically performing supply, exhaust and discharge. CONSTITUTION:A part of a specimen chamber 18 housing a viscoelastic body to be measured is constituted of an upper die 81 and a lower die 82. A motor 1 applies rotations movement to the upper die 81 and a torque detector 50 detects reaction torque applied to the lower die 82. At this time an outer cylinder die 83 is provided on the periphery of the die 82 and antislip processing against a specimen is performed on the face forming the specimen chamber 18. In addition, the diameter of the die 81 is made larger than the die 83 and a fixed die 17 is provided to form the side face of the specimen chamber 18 with the use of the part thereof. A plurality of opposed grooves 115 communicating with the specimen chamber 18 is provided on the inner circumference of a fixed die 84 of the periphery of the die 83 and, when the specimen chamber 18 is opened after test completion, specimen is always left on the side of the die 83. Further, the supply, discharge and exhaust of a specimen for the specimen chamber 18 are automatically performed by the use of a detachable device.
