Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To suppress the variations of characteristic even under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions by incorporating at least one kind of silver halide obtained by adding a sensitizing pigment in the process extending from the formation to the completion of chemical sensitization into the material. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of silver halide obtained by adding a sensitizing pigment in the process extending from the formation to the completion of chemical sensitization is incorporated into the material. The pigment is preferably added from the time immediately before the formation of silver halide grains to the time immediately after the formation of the grain, and the sensitizing pigment is appropriately added in the course of addition of an aq. silver salt soln. and an aq. halide soln. into a reactor to form silver halide grains. The preservability is improved in this way under high-temp. and high- humidity conditions.
