Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To perform the indication of a travel path with an image close to the scene ahead of a driver by reading image data from an image data storage means according to the present position of a vehicle detected by a travel distance detecting means and a proceeding direction detecting means, and displaying this image data by a display means. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 10 is placed on the side of displaying image data, the specified image data corresponding to the present position of a vehicle computed by the instrumentation of a travel distance sensor 2 and an azimuth sensor 3 is read from an optical disk 7 by an optical disk driver 6 and sent to a display control part 8 so as to be displayed on a display part 9. The data 32 indicating travel paths destination by destination is stored previously in image data, and a driver induces a car according to this data 32 indicating travel distance. The indication of travel paths can be thereby performed not by a plane map but by an image close to the scene ahead of the driver.
