SHIFT LOCK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To carry out the transfer from a parking position of a selecting lever and the turn of a key cylinder during a control means is in an anomaly by installing an anomaly detecting means which puts a shift lock mechanism and a key cylinder lock mechanism into each unlock state when the control means is in anomaly. CONSTITUTION:A shift lock mechanism 2 and a key cylinder lock mechanism 4 are installed, and a control means 8 which puts the shift lock mechanism 2 into an unlock state by the detection of the parking position by a shift position detecting means 7 and the detection of the stepping-on operation of a brake 5 by a brake operation detecting means 6 and puts the key cylinder lock mechanism 4 into an unlock state by the detection of the parking position by the shift position detecting means 7 is installed. An anomaly detecting means 9 which detects the operation state of the control means 8 and puts the shift lock mechanism 2 and the key cylinder lock mechanism 4 into each unlock state, if the anomaly of the control means 8 is detected, is installed. Accordingly, the shift operation of a selecting lever and the key pulling-out operation from a key cylinder can be carried out, until the repair of the control means is completed.
