PRINTED SUBSTRATE LAYOUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To highly efficiently layout a printed substrate by storing parts shape data or the like in a parts information storing means as a data base and automatically extracting parts information necessary for substrate layout by circuit data. CONSTITUTION:The parts shape data or the like necessary for the layout of a printed substrate are stored in the parts information storing means 8 as a data base and parts information necessary for the substrate layout is automatically extracted from the parts information based upon circuit data in a circuit diagram to be the base of the layout and stored in a using parts information storing means 12. An editing means 14 layouts the substrate based upon the parts information stored in the means 12. Consequently, the substrate layout can be highly efficiently executed and the operation efficiency can be improved.
