Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To stabilize contacting condition with high pressure fluid and to manufacture metal powder having the prescribed particle size distribution by arranging a spiral groove part on inner peripheral face in a molten metal nozzle hole arranged at bottom part of a molten metal vessel and giving the molten metal the straight flowing. CONSTITUTION:By blowing the high pressure fluid against the molten metal descending flow, the molten metal is cut into fine drips and the drips are cooled to make these the metal powder. At this time, in the inner peripheral face of nozzle hole 1 in the molten metal nozzle 3 at the bottom part of molten metal vessel forming the molten metal descending flow, the spiral groove part 2 is arranged. Then, as the molten metal passes through the nozzle hole 1 at about 100m/sec, groove pitch P of the groove part 2 is P= groove width W of the groove part 2 and rotation about >=5 turnsec is given to the molten metal. By this method, the straight flowing of molten metal descending flow is improved and made to the flow along the fixed locus to obtain the metal powder having the prescribed particle size distribution.
