PURPOSE:To attain ease of process setting by transferring an item indicated by the 2nd cursor of an item registration area to a storage location corresponding to an identification number indicated by the 1st cursor of an item setting area so as to use a display device such as a CRT. CONSTITUTION:The item registration area in which plural items are stored in advance and an item area in which an item set corresponding to the identification number is stored are provided to a memory. The screen on the CRET10 is divided into two upper/lower sections, for example, items in which a process setting table is set to an item setting area are displayed on the upper section corresponding to an identification number and items in which the process table is registered in an item resistration area are displayed on the lower section. A cursor Cu1 indicates an identification number displayed on the upper section and the cursor Cu2 indicates the registration item displayed on the lower section. Then the item indicated by the Cu2 is transferred to the storage location corresponding to the identification number indicated by the Cu1. Thus, the process setting is executed easily by a display device such as a CRT.
