POWER SOURCE CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To generate a stable ON/OFF signal by inputting the ON/OFF signal to a microcomputer once through a data bus, and bringing the flip-flop of a final stage under the ON/OFF control of the microcomputer thereafter. CONSTITUTION:A power-ON and a power-OFF command which are sent out of a console panel, etc., and the logic part, etc., of the processor are inputted to the microcomputer 12 once through the data bus 23 and a power-ON and a power-OFF signal to be sent to a power unit are generated under the control of the microcomputer 12. Therefore, even if a noise is generated at the logic part in the processor during the power startup period when the power source is turned on, a data bus interface is logically locked until sufficient stabilization, so the ON signal never malfunctions in the power-ON operation. Consequently, a noise generated during an unstable period in the power-ON operation is prevented from being generated and the stable power-OFF signal or power-ON signal is sent out.
