APPARATUS FOR MEASURING HUMAN HEMOGLOBIN IN EXCRETION AND REAGENT USED IN MEASUREMENT

PURPOSE:To specifically measure human hemoglobin is excretion with high sensitivity and to visually detect the same by combining a porous support, a spacer layer and an absorbing layer. CONSTITUTION:A porous support 40 has upper and under surfaces and a test region having the specific antibody to human hemoglobin provided thereto in a solid phase is provided on the upper surface thereof and the under surface part thereof is in contact with a spacer layer 30. The spacer layer 30 discriminates between the labelled substance transferred to an absorbing layer 20 and the labelled substance specifically bonded to the test region. Therefore, the color of the labelled substance transferred to the absorbing layer 20 is made non-viewable through the support 40. The absorbing layer 20 is positioned under the spacer layer 30 to absorbs the sample or reagent not specifically bonded to the test region and prevents the back flow of the sample or reagent to the support 40. A tracer using a colloid particle of a visible non-metal substance such as selenium, tellurium or sulfur, especially, a selenium colloid particle as a labeling substance is used to measure human hemoglobin in excretion.
