Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide possibility to treat waste containing halogenated organic solvents by a method, of vacuum extraction of contaminants other than its incineration, using the process of recovery adsorption of vapor phase solvents from suction air, passing through on adsorbent column set in a suction line. CONSTITUTION:Waste containing trichloroethylene or other halogenated organic solvents in sealed vessel 1 is sucked up by a pressure reduction suction mechanism 2 to make the halogenated organic solvents turn into vapor phase which are recovered in suction line 5 by suction air. The suction air is led to pass on adsorbent column 6 (e.g. active carbon column) provided in suction line 5 to adsorb and recover the vapor phase solvents. As a result, it becomes possible to treat the contaminants consisting of halogenated organic solvents which are hard to incinerate by a method of vacuum extraction of the solvents other than the incineration. Moreover, it is also possible to extract the adsorbed materials in form of organic solvents by steaming the active carbon with solvents adsorbed, which contributes to re-utilization of resorces. |
