STORE AND FORWARD EXCHANGE SYSTEM FOR FACSIMILE

PURPOSE:To reduce burdensome dial inputting that is required at every communication by prefixing a bar code type facsimile entry sheet where communication information is described to screen information of a communication statement to send, by making a facsimile store and forward switching equipment interprete the communication information, and by sending screen information of the communication statement to an addressed terminal. CONSTITUTION:When sending a communication statement from terminal 1 to terminal 2, a reception number for facsimile communication proper is called through a telephone set, thereby sending screen information that is a communication statement and bar code type sheet screen information where information necessary for communication. In facsimile store and forward switching equipment 6, when the leading page is stored from terminal 1 of the facsimile, screen information of the first page is read out from screen information storage unit 7, and the content of service initiated by bar code sheet recognitionsection 8 is discriminated by the central processing unit 9, thereby causing program operation for target communication processing. With this, mutual communication between an electronic mail and a facsimile original is made possible.
