Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make the sampling frequency of the title processor coincident with that of peripheral equipment and, at the same, time, to arbitrarily set the number of signal processing steps of the processor by dividing the frequency of acoustic signals into plural bands and signal-processing each band in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of acoustic signals. is divided into plural bands and signal processing circuit P11, P1-P4 for processing signals are cascade- connected. Each signal processing circuit performs signal-processing after delaying input acoustic signals by the time required for performing the signal processing to the signal processing circuit of the prestage. The sum of the signal-processed result of each signal processing circuit and the output signal of the signal processing circuit of the prestage is outputted to the signal processing circuit of the poststage. Since the input acoustic signals are processed, with each band being processed in parallel, high degree of signal processing can be performed without lowering the sampling frequency by increasing the number of divided bands when the high degree of signal processing is required. Therefore, signals sampled with the same sampling frequency as that of peripheral equipment can be handled.
