OPTICAL DISK APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve positioning accuracy and to stabilize the controlling for the positioning by forming a cable for connecting a reciprocating optical head and the entire apparatus in a ring pattern. CONSTITUTION:In an optical disk apparatus, an optical head part is reciprocated in the radial direction of a rotating optical disk medium by the control of a control circuit part. In this optical disk apparatus, a part of a ring-shaped cable for sending and receiving a signal is connected to the member of an optical head 1. A symmetric point facing a part of the cable 6 is connected and fixed to the connecting connector of the opposite side which is fixed to the main body of the apparatus through a connecting connector 7. In this constitution, the cable 6 is always symmetric regardless of the moving direction of the optical head 1. The generation of force which is to become disturbance for the positioning control of the optical head 1 is suppressed. Thus, the positioning accuracy is improved, and the positioning control can be stabilized.
