TESTING APPARATUS OF STRENGTH OF TUBULAR OBJECT

PURPOSE:To test a tubular object in the equivalent state to the actual using state and to detect the strength of the object clearly by forming a pressure fluid accommodating chamber between the object and a flexible film body having a larger diameter than an outer diameter of the tubular object, and providing a cylinder with a feed/discharge port of the pressure fluid. CONSTITUTION:A tubular object to be tested is projected outside an apparatus 1 through an opening 42 at a side plate and a film body 10. A hydraulic pump is driven to feed the operating oil through a feed/discharge port into a chamber between the film body 10 and the cylinder 20 with pressure. When the air inside the chamber is discharged and the operating oil is filled, the pressure acting to the peripheral surface of the tubular object is increased. At this time, the pressuring force acts uniformly to the whole periphery of the tubular object, and therefore the strength of the tubular object can be tested in the state similar to the actual using state.
