The ionic electrical current changes its value according to its distance from the flame hole of the flame, and in the symptoms of its blow-off, the current shows a change of sudden fall, and this change is detected by a detector 31, and just before the flame blow-off, a high voltage electrical power source 40 is driven by a controller 41, and if a high voltage is applied to the electrodes 10 through a switching means 20, there is generated an action to bring back the flame, and it is possible to avoid flame blow-off.
