Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To efficiently and perfectly remove an unreacted basic substance contained in an adsorbent by washing the adsorbent contg. the basic substance with a strong electrolyte soln. and preparing an adsorbent leaching a small amt. of the basic substance. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbent contg. a basic substance is washed with a strong electrolyte soln. to produce an adsorbent reducing the amt. of the basic substance leached. The basic substance may be any water-soluble org. basic substance but is especially a compd. having a prim., sec., tert. or quat. amino group or a deriv. thereof. The strong electrolyte soln. is an aq. soln. of a monovalent binary electrolyte such as potassium chloride or sodium chloride or a divalent ternary electrolyte such as potassium sulfate or sodium sulfate but it is not desirable that a highly basic electrolyte such as sodium chloride liable to denature a gel carrier or ligand is used alone. When the highly basic electrolyte is used, it is mixed with an acidic electrolyte such as sodium hydrogensulfate or potassium dihydrogenphosphate.
